Getting Started
Set up your Nano Banana 2 Lite account, open the image workspace, and create your first AI image.
This guide covers the shortest path from a new account to a first usable generation.
Open the workspace
- Sign in with the same email or authentication method you plan to use for billing and support.
- Open the Nano Banana 2 Lite workspace.
- Choose the generation task that matches your input: text-to-image for a new image or image edit when you have source images.
- Review the visible model settings before submitting the job.
Prepare a first prompt
A good first prompt names the subject, composition, lighting, and style. Keep the first attempt direct:
A premium product image of a silver watch on black glass.
Use soft studio lighting, sharp reflections, and a centered composition.
Keep the watch realistic, clean, and detailed.
If you use source images, describe what each asset should preserve. For example, one image can define the product appearance while the prompt changes the background or lighting.
Submit and review
After submitting, wait for the task to finish before sending duplicates. When the result appears, review whether the subject, composition, style, and details match the intent. If the output is close but not exact, adjust one or two instructions at a time instead of rewriting everything.
Next steps
- Use Generation workflow for stronger prompt and reference control.
- Use Generation workflow if your reference files fail or exports are unclear.
- Use Troubleshooting when a task stalls, fails, or produces an unexpected result.
